He moved south and graduated from Georgia Tech, then began his career in Electrical Engineering. He realized that Corporate America wasn’t where he wanted to be; and by chance, in 1999 he discovered the world of Land Development and Real Estate, specifically on lakes in North Carolina. From there, he became a successful Real Estate Agent working in 100+ communities throughout the Southeast, and eventually broadened his horizons by representing many land developers in North Carolina and continues to remain focused on lake communities. Today, NClakefront.com Realty is one of the largest sales and marketing companies focusing on North Carolina Lake Properties, and continues to grow everyday.

	Dwight Hill - Real Estate Agent Direct: 800-783-0823 \| Email Dwight Hill Dwight grew up in the Massachusetts and spent his summers on a lake in Harrisville, New Hampshire. He went to school for computer science at Franklin Pierce College. Prior to going into real estate Dwight was in the high-tech field for 12 years as a product manager at several start-up and large corporations. A real estate professional since 2002, Dwight and his wife, Dawn, first discovered Lake Hickory on the Internet. They came to the area and liked what they saw so much that they bought property in Lake Hickory’s Plantation Pointe community and plan to build their home there shortly. When he has a chance, he enjoys taking his wife, son and friends out on the lake to water ski, wakeboard and to go tubing. For a more relaxing time he just likes to cruise the lake and enjoys the lake living lifestyle.

Following in her father’s footsteps, she too joined the Air Force spending some time out West in South Dakota. After leaving the military she moved back to NH where she received her BS degree from the University of NH and her MA degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch New England Graduate School. After years of counseling she decided it was time for a change and went into real estate, quickly finding out that the skills learned in counseling transferred very nicely into sales. In her 6 years of selling real estate she has come to learn that it is all about the art of listening and understanding the needs of people and helping them meet those needs! She moved to North Carolina to get away from the hectic pace and cold winters of the Northeast. She and her husband, Dwight, are looking forward to building in Plantation Pointe on Lake Hickory in the near future and showing their son the magnificence of lake living.
